Elevated levels of this protein in the blood predict the onset of serious illnesses such as cardiovascular disease. An increase in C-reactive protein levels was observed for each of the participants when they consumed only the whey protein drink. On the other hand, after consuming the whey protein drink with Aminolase™, a significant decrease in C-reactive protein levels was observed for each individual.
